"Awareness"

This is a time that we must have our awareness & perception on its highest level. We are moving into a time that the book of Matthew & Revelation speak of; If it were possible, the very elect would be deceived.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:22-24

As we come into the final hour of Satan’s rule on this earth, we find that he is raging because he knows that his time is short.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Rev 12:12

His efforts have become so intense that without discernment and the proper understanding, you would not be able to recognize him for the paper dragon that he is. If you are not able to see him as the defeated foe for which he is (God preordained that it be your good pleasure to bruise him under your feet shortly), then you could become alarmed and allow unbelief to raise its ugly head. Fear not little flock, it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. God never leaves His sons in the dark without the ability to discern what He is doing, and God has ways of communicating with us beyond the visible or audible means that we have known.

God is bringing a restoration to us, and the Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead is beginning to give life to our mortal body as we come alive to a world which we have been unaware of.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.  Romans 8:11

Our bodies are becoming sensitized to a world that we have not been able to see. As our bodies become alive, we find the Spirit bringing "signs" and symptoms within our bodies, like a seeing eye dog to perceive the realm just beyond sight. This way of communicating to us through signs, both outward and inward, has been a method of His since the beginning. He has to have a way in which He can communicate to His sons that is not just based on the conventional ways. And it is through these "signs" that come in our physical bodies, that we are able to perceive and understand that realm which is just beyond sight.

We are experiencing an increase in our perception and a greater sensitivity to that which is going on around us. If you are not aware of this, then you might think it is an increase in the battle. If we don’t have the proper discernment when we go out to do battle, we can become very confused and think we have come up against things that God has given us the victory over, when it is only Goliath’s brother stepping up to get his one way ticket into the pit.

if we don’t have the full understanding of God’s victory which He has given us, then we can keep fighting things that we already have the victory over. We can also let things live in our life, fueled by our lack of understanding and our unbelief, that have been long since defeated by the blood of the Lamb. We wonder sometimes why we can repent over and over again about something that we want to get out of our life, but no matter how hard we try, and no matter how sincere and diligent we are, we just can’t shake. The hardest thing to get rid of is an illusion, because you are still trying to get rid of something that God has eliminated. The carnal mind can keep you on this cycle until you come to trust in the Lord and His victory, leaning not on your own understanding. It is virtually impossible to kill something that is already dead!

We pray that your eyes will be enlightened so that you can see that greater are those who are with us than those who are against us.

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Eph 1:18

The story of Elisha and his servant Gehazi is a classic example of a lack of spiritual eyesight. After Elisha opened his servant’s eyes so that he could see the army of the Lord surrounding them, it still did not open the eyes of his heart to perceive that which God had in store for him as the heir apparent of Elisha’s mantle. He lost it all over a wedge of gold which he tried to conceal from the man of God, and his only reward was leprosy and a fruitless death. The same with Akin, who after God had given the Children of Israel victory after victory, brought the curse of God on the camp by trying to keep some of the gold and cloth for himself.

We have to continue to cleanse and purify ourselves before God so that we will always remain sensitive to Him. We will not be led astray by the illusions and false revelations of this time period we have entered into. We must empty ourselves of anything that might still remain of the old nature. Even though we may possess gifts which might aid us in being able to discern what is going on around us, nothing can beat a broken and contrite heart, and a willingness in our spirit to put God first.

God is looking for a people who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, and if you cleave to these things, then nothing will separate you from His love and His grace. None of the gifts mean anything without His love.

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all of these other things will be added onto you. (Matthew 6:33).
