Bonds & Vampires
from "The Manifestation of the Sons of God"

We felt it prudent to post this word from our recently published book, as this is a pivotal point that affects all of God's sons; especially the "Wise and Foolish" virgins during this time.

We have come to a time in the earth where we are finding the iniquity coming to the full, and the love of many waxing cold (Gen 15:16, 2Th 2:17, Matt 24:12). We have touched on what we have seen unfolding in the earth as we continue to experience the overlapping of realms; a conjunction of ages. We are seeing the convergence of the spirit world as it interacts more and more with the natural plane, and this is creating a unique set of dynamics. This is something the Christian believer, or the sons of God, have not had to deal with before.

What exactly are we speaking of? We are talking about an access into the natural plane of the energy and intent of a spirit world; specifically the world of evil, that have been (and are being) cast down (Rev 12:10). They seek every opportunity to hinder the manifestation of sonship within God’s people, while God simultaneously trains His sons for war (Joel 3).

The title of this word, Bonds and Vampires, is an interesting title. It never ceases to amaze me at the fascination people have with the occult and the dark side of human nature. So much of this fascination is created and fostered through the energy that is being generated and channeled literally from the spirit world; specifically the satanic hosts. That sentence says a great deal and it alone may change the way you view your reality around you.

Vampires within the realm of spirit do exist, however not in the conventional context. Certainly some demons you could say manifest that trait, and they are much more hideous to behold. But what I want to address concerns the act of vampirism that is experienced every day in the lives of God’s sons and daughters - so often unbeknownst to them.

Perhaps the greatest deterrent to the manifestation of the kingdom of God in this hour can be expressed in a single word; bonds. Remember, we are talking about the kingdom of God within you. We are not speaking of an external kingdom; not yet. The existence of these bonds have been the greatest deterrent to the maturing and subsequent manifestation of the sons of God.

So what do we mean by “bonds”? Webster’s dictionary defines a “bond” as that which 1. binds or restrains. 2. a band or cord to tie something. 3. an adhesive, cementing material.

Imagine a thin piece of metal cemented to another piece of metal. There you have a simple bond. However, the dynamics get interesting if you begin to cement one piece to another, to another and so on. You could go on to infinity, and yet you would find that the first piece of metal is linked to the very last in this long daisy chain of pieces. OK, so now it gets interesting. If you apply intense heat to the first item, you will feel the heat in the last piece of metal in that chain. That heat is literally transferred because of the existence of that bond.

Before we take this further, let’s talk about the realm of spirit and the realm of the soul.

Imagine a vast ocean. Imagine yourself standing in this ocean, immersed in it, at one with it. You sense it, you feel it, and it flows through you. You are a part of it. Every aspect of this ocean affects you and is a part of you. This ocean represents the world of spirit that you have your existence in. We live in this world of spirit, 24/7, but most have no awareness of this reality.

This ocean, this world of spirit, is a level of reality that affects all things. You could call it a “field of energy” or “God”, for it exists all around us and within us. The scriptures speak that in Christ all things are held together. Literally Christ is that “field of energy” that we live in. We are immersed in this ocean or field of energy.

Realize you are an energetic being vibrating at a unique frequency that enables you to have a physical manifestation on this plane of existence. If you could change your vibration, like a tuning fork, you could change the level of your abiding. Christ could do this as He passed through walls and walked on water. It was just a simple shift of His energy - the scriptures leave a lot unsaid between the lines.

and they got up and drove Him out of the city, and led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city had been built, in order to throw Him down the cliff. But passing through their midst, He went His way. – Luke 4:29-30

We have tended to view ourselves primarily as having our state of existence and consciousness within this natural realm, but we are more spirit than we have ever understood.

Where is heaven? Light years away? Up around Orion or the expanse of space? No, heaven is only a level of vibration away from you.

Christ spoke to the disciples that the kingdom was within them (Luke 17:21). We are just now beginning to understand that the kingdom of God exists within. The kingdom is within you and it surrounds you - it is just a different level of existence or vibration. This is such a deep truth, yet we still live, for the most part, with an unawareness of this. We have not yet been able to comprehend the depth of this reality.

Remember Christ’s words … “in my Father’s house are many dwelling places”. That would be many dimensions - many worlds - many levels of abiding.

"In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also”. - Jn 14:2-3

When Christ died the word says He “passed through the heavens” (Heb 14:4). So, did He pass the moon, the stars, and the nebulae? No. He passed through the various dimensional levels that comprise all of creation - our Father’s house. He sat down at the right hand of the Father, on the highest level, and He has beckoned you and I to come and be with Him.

Where am I going with this? Simply to establish one point - we have lived with an awareness of our lives primarily on one level. The truth is that we have our existence in a realm of spirit, and we are living, interacting and responding to stimuli that come to us from many different levels.

You are affected by that which comes not only from the physical realm but the spirit realm and the soul realm simultaneously. On the flip side, you can affect the realm of spirit and the realm of the soul as well. It goes both ways.

Let’s do a brief visualization. It is important that you grasp and understand just what we are dealing with within the realm of bonds, contacts, and attachments. This is at the core of so much that is restraining and must be removed for you to walk in the freedom God has for you.

Visualize 2 people, standing next to each other. Now, visualize a cord emitting from one and attaching to the other. Let’s put those 2 people on the opposite sides of the planet, and no matter where they are; that cord cannot be not broken. That cord may stretch across continents, or even through the veil, but that cord remains.

To see this in the realm of spirit would be to see very fine strands of light. They connect individuals together. People live their whole lives with hundreds of these “strands” connecting them. These strands or cords represent your relationships, contacts, or associations. They are not limited by distance; and they know no barriers. No matter where a person goes, these cords are always in tact.

In the scriptures you will find scripture after scripture that reference the “cords of the wicked”. The promise is that the Lord will cut in two “the cords of the wicked”. Psalms 129:4 is just one of numerous references in the scripture to “cords”. We are talking about “cords” that bind; “cords” that prevent you from becoming.

The plowers plowed upon my back; They lengthened their furrows. The LORD is righteous; He has cut in two the cords of the wicked. – Psalms 129:3-4

Do a concordant study on the word - cords or cord. It is an eye-opener.

Now let’s go back to the initial example of the metal that is bonded to another piece of metal - into infinity. Bonds function much like that example. Bonds exist, without limitations, and can be a source of blessing, yet equally, a source of great hindrance and oppression.

Now, visualize these cords as conduits of electricity, except what is traveling on these cords are not electrical currents to light a house, rather they are energetic (eg: spirit/soul) currents conveying thoughts, emotions, feelings and oppressions from one individual to another. Now, multiply that by hundreds, or even thousands. This is a picture of what exists in the realm of the spirit, and the realm of the soul.

Whether we are dealing with the prayers of the saints, or the transference that is upon the judgment of the wicked, this gives you a clearer grasp of how energy flows and moves in the spirit realm. This gives you a quick picture of what a bond looks like in the spirit, and how devastatingly effective it can be.

This is also a picture of how transference can work.

To really understand transference, we must understand what Christ accomplished through His death on the cross. When Christ died He transferred our sins upon Him and His righteousness upon us. That was transference. That is the scripture. He took upon Himself the sins of humanity, and He opened a door that all of His righteousness might flow to you. It’s truly wonderful. How are we righteous? We are righteous by virtue of Christ’s blood that was shed; opening a door for the transference of all that He is to be given to you. What a gift. That is transference.

According to Wikipedia, transference is defined as; “a phenomenon in psychoanalysis characterized by the unconscious redirection of feelings from one person to another”. It is interesting that even the world is beginning to recognize the principle of transference, if only on the soul level.

As a people we are called to be “in the world”, but “not of it”. We are also admonished to be “all things to all people”, yet neither of these are possible until we have understood and experienced the realm of bonds and transference.

The more we understand the principles that govern the realm of the spirit; the more we will move into a functional relationship in the spirit.

This principle of transference is how the spirit world functions; for everything in the realm of the spirit and the realm of the soul function through transference. Transference can be used to send a blessing, or it can be used to send or convey oppression. Christ understood this principle clearly when He said that He gave Himself to no man (John 2:24). He knew what was in man. He also clearly understood the principle of transference.

Now let’s talk about bonds, because it is through incorrect bonds - or bonds of an “unequal” yoke - that negative transference can flow. And this is our concern.

Bonds that exist between people can be a source of some of the most detrimental transference that we have seen. Bonds are a function of your soul, and that is what makes them so dangerous. Bonds are created through sympathy, obligation, expectation, fear, physical exchanges, anger, and a host of other emotional responses or reactions. Even the simple act of breaking bread with another creates a bond.

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. "For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW; and A MAN'S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD. - Mat 10:34-36

What is Christ speaking of here? He is speaking of bonds; of the relationships born out of obligation and sympathy. He is also addressing the principle of being unequally yoked. He is speaking about the detriment bonds can have; for a man's enemies will be the members of his household.

You may think that Christ meant something more “literal” with this scripture; that it could literally be your own household? Very possible; however what Christ is really addressing are the bonds and relationships that we have - specifically the unequally yoked relationships of the soul.

Instead of carrying the power to create and release, soul-bonds carry the ability to demean, intimidate and destroy.

But if you bite and devour one another, take care lest you be consumed by one another. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. Galatians 5:15-16

Paul was dealing with severe issues in the Galatian church because the relationships that existed in that church were on the wrong level. The bickering and arguing began to take a toll on the people within that church. You had those who were reaching into a deeper walk in the spirit, only to find their energy siphoned off by those walking according to the flesh, or soul. This problem faced Paul not only in Galatia, but in most of the churches.

The title of this word, Bonds and Vampires, certainly conjures up a few images. When you think of Vampires; what do you see? I see that which sucks the blood and life from another - one that lives by feeding upon another’s life. That would be the mythical creature called a Vampire, but this closely describes what happens when soul-bonds are created and allowed to exist.

When an individual passes through the veil (death), there are instances where he cannot go on unless their partner (the one left on this side of the veil); lets go. You have probably heard of these instances; people transitioning after death could not go on without someone on this side letting go of them. It is interesting because bonds exist without limitation. You can literally bond to someone on the other side of the veil, but that is a very different dynamic and not what we want to focus on right here.

Most everyone living today functions from the soul; people don’t really know any other way of relating. What is the buzz word used so often these days ….“bonding”. “Having a time of bonding”. There has not been any real understanding or teaching of the difference between spirit and soul.

It is rudimentarily simple; if you walk in the spirit, as the word speaks, then you truly will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Rom 8:4). Your relationships and the mode of your relating will be spiritually grounded.

For those who are walking into this day of spirit, there is a growing awareness and sensitivity coming. People are beginning to become more aware of this issue of bonds. They are beginning to sense and feel the existence of bonds within their life, even if they have not known what to call it, or how to deal with them.

Paul saw the great jeopardy of bonds within the churches.

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols?

For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty. – 2 Cor 6:14-18

There is no bond that is good, for bonds are a function of the soul - not the spirit. As long as bonds exist then your ability to see and to hear are blocked. It is really very simple. If you are not able to effectively deal with the bonds in your life, then you will be constantly hindered with the oppression of another that hinders your spiritual sight. You cannot carry the baggage of the soul and enter into a spiritual oneness with Christ. If you want to be one with the Lord then you must break the bonds you have had that you might rise and experience a “spiritual oneness” with Christ.

Literally, a bond is the devil’s highway right into your spirit. Until this revelation hits you, you may not give that much credence to the importance of eliminating bonds. Until you pass through this step, your progress will be hindered.

We have spoken many times about knowing who you are. This is crucial because the Lord wants you to know who you are; who He is within you. The tremendous jeopardy of bonds is that they bring you to the point where you cannot know yourself. Why is that? Because bonds block your spiritual sensitivity. It is like taking a walk on a beautiful day except the clouds are out blocking the sun.

So often the thoughts you carry are not yours. The oppression you feel - not yours; you are carrying that which has been transferred upon you. Your ability to see the Lord and commune with Him is hindered to the degree that you are still fettered with the bonds you carry. As shocking as this may sound, the truth is that the majority of your problems are not yours. You may think not; but you haven’t realized how much you have been under as the world of evil has sought to keep you under a cloud of oppression.

Our progress in God is not as dependent upon our effort “to become” as upon our ability to cut the cords and the anchors that have held us back. What are these cords and anchors? - The bonds we carry.
Do not strive to “become”, endeavor to eliminate the chords that have bound you.

Let’s go back to the scripture in 2^nd Corinthians for a moment.

Paul was pointing out the problems with bonds. As long as your relationships are born of the soul – born of insecurities, needs, wants, expectations, or obligations; then you have linked yourself to those individuals and all of the baggage that they carry.

Remember the first visualization I gave - the bonding of metal to metal, to metal? Well, you are not only bonded or tied to the baggage of the immediate relationship; you are vicariously bonded to that persons baggage, and the baggage of the next person, and so on. That is a bit sobering!

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. – James 4:8

So, what do bonds do? They cloud and inhibit your awareness. They block your oneness in the Spirit. They yoke you into the double mindedness of the very one with whom you are bound to. It may not be your double mindedness, but that does not matter; if you are bonded to them, then it will have your address on it as well (Jas 1:8).

It can seem relatively easy to discern or identify the obvious relationships you have that are incorrectly feeding off of you; but the real issue lies at being able to discern the bonds that you are not aware of. This takes some real perception to understand how you are relating and how you are allowing yourself to be related to which is creating these relationships on the wrong level.

If bonds continue un-checked and un-dealt with, then you can count on the fact that your ability to see and function in the realm of spirit will be hindered. For those who have not had much teaching on the existence of bonds, it can be very difficult to discern them. That is how subtle this is. That is why you must guard your eyesight - for walking in the spirit takes a great deal of sight.

We are beginning to understand the far reaching ramifications of bonds or soul-level relationships and how easy it has been for the satanic powers to hinder and significantly delay the manifestation of the kingdom, within you. We are not talking about an external fulfillment; the fulfillment of the kingdom in this day is within you.

As long this issue is kept on the sidelines, or hidden, then there will not be an acute understanding of the far reaching effects that the existence of bonds have. They are singularly the most deadly force that prevents the release and manifestation of the kingdom – within you.

If you are running this race anchored and fettered, then no matter how hard you run it will be very difficult for you to break the tape. We know there is a direct correlation to “seeing the Lord” and “being changed”; and until you deal with the bonds in your life, you are not going to be able to see clearly. If you do not see - you will not change.

The minute you start to break free is when you really find out what spiritual warfare is all about. Why? Because your progressive freedom empowers you to function and see in the realm of spirit. You are able to walk as the authority that you are. Your presence and the words you speak will do more than tickle a few ears; they will destroy fortresses. Your words and your presence will destroy principalities, powers, thrones and dominions.

Where are we headed? We are headed into clarity and into a level of life free from bonds and free from attachments - literally free from this age.

We are called to be “in the world” but not “of it”. This cannot happen until you are able to cut the moorings of the bonds and attachments of the soul and walk as the spiritual person you are.

This issue of bonds is the basis of all effective spiritual warfare against the saints, and it is also at the crux of why God’s sons are not becoming more quickly.
