One
last leap -
Into
resurrection life
For
the believer the scriptures can appear to be perplexing
and seem always at "arms distance". Paul speaks that
you are blessed with every spiritual blessing, yet, from
the looks of things, there are many times when every
thing else points to the opposite. The scriptures
speak of ruling and reigning with Christ, of releasing
all of creation from futility by the glorious liberty of
the Sons of God. The scriptures go on and on,
presenting promise after promise, reality according to
God's viewpoint, yet lacking within our own personal
application. It would appear that the New Testament is
a book of dichotomies, saying one thing, yet your life?s
appearance presenting another reality all together.
The
last frontier to be conquered in the pursuit of
resurrection life and attaining the goal of sonship,
lies within the deep recesses of the carnal mind. Many
have died in the faith, having seen from a distance the
promise, but not being able to possess it.
To
those of us upon whom the ends of the ages have come
lies a great responsibility and honor; that of breaking
the tape in this race, breaking the mortality barrier.
For
many it is just easier to act as though the Bible does
not teach or present such mind numbing truths - for how
does one enter into such a great high calling?
If
it is any comfort to you, Christ accomplished it all
when He died on the cross. When He said, "It is
finished", it was indeed finished. From that point He
sat down at the right hand of the Father to reign until
all of His enemies be set beneath His feet.
Is
God going to do something more for us to bring us into
these precious and wonderful promises? Perhaps there is
something on His itinerary yet that will initiate such a
sovereign moving of God, that we can all just relax and
be "caught up". That could happen, but I don?t think I
will hold my breath for it. I believe there is an
initiative God is looking for, the type of initiative
spoken of in the book of Matthew....."The Kingdom of
heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by
force."
So
if He is looking for us to take the initiative, it would
be nice if we knew just where that initiative was to be
placed. Thank you Lord for showing us the map, we see
the destination, it looks pretty nice. Those cities in
the heavenly Jerusalem look great, I see them clearly
Lord, but the highway to get there is just a bit fuzzy.
Can you redraw that line again Lord? Surely someone must
have walked this path before...is there anyone up there
that can tell me how to do this thing I am called to do?
That?s the problem, if a problem it is - for no one has
walked this way before.....the prophets of old looked at
this day with longing, they saw it from afar, but knew
that they would not be the ones to break the tape.
Oh
thou worm Jacob, thou shalt rise up and take a prey. O
little flock, it is the Father?s good pleasure to give
you the kingdom. OK, that is great. Thank you Lord, I
do accept. But the path is still a little hazy. Lord,
give me a clue....
And
the best clue that seems to present itself concerns the
duality of the carnal mind, for God has already given us
everything, but why have we not possessed it. If we
consciously believe, then where is what I call the
"cross-out" coming from. Something within me must be
negating the very act of belief that I have. I believe,
but there must be something within, that does not fully
believe. For the scripture states, If you ask,
believing, it shall be done unto you. That is, if you
ask----without
wavering.
And
so we come to the focus of this short word, we have not
realized that there are two aspects of the mind that
co-exist simultaneously, the conscious and the
sub-conscious.
The
problem does not lie within the conscious mind, assuming
we believe to the best of our ability in what we are
about, but the problem lies deep within the
sub-conscious mind, the 90% that we are not aware of. It
is said that man uses upwards of maybe 5% to 8% of his
mind. Where is the other 92%? Buried deep in the
sub-conscious.
When Adam sinned in the Garden, and was cast out of the
Garden, a veil came down and separated Adam from his
relationship to the Father, and his ability to exist in
the spiritual world. Leaving the garden and the advent
of a veil of separation was far more reaching than most
realize, because it was at that point that the
sub-conscious mind was created. Until then, Adam was
able to use his mind, every faculty that was given to
him by God. It must have been incredible. Yet with the
advent of sin, man?s separation from God was more
involved than a mere walk in the Garden. And ever since
then man has been subject to the power of his
subconscious, never understanding fully who or what was
pulling his chain.
It
is time to understand that since birth you have been
subliminally conditioned. Your subconscious has been
conditioned to the realities (or illusions would be
better stated) of this world. Your belief system has
incorporated all of the limitations of this age, and the
sterility of deadness that exists in the earth today.
To
break the tape, and finish the course, you will have to
recondition your subconscious mind, until you will be as
one man, in unison, both conscious and subconscious,
able to create whatever you ask or think, because there
will not be the dark recesses of unbelief and negative
conditioning existent within the subconscious.
Over the next several weeks we will begin to post
further articles that will be step by step guidelines
you can use to begin to change this course we have all
been on as humans. It is time to enter the supernatural,
but it will only be done by a people who have control of
all of their faculties, who do not harbor the pure and
unpure. Whose thoughts are consistent with their faith.
Whose subconscious is in complete agreement with his
conscious mind.
Joshua was commanded by God to meditate on His word day
and night. And by that he would prosper. Now God is
pretty scientific, yet He chose not to elaborate with
Joshua just what was happening to him when he meditated
day and night. But I will venture to say this, that as
Joshua meditated, day and night, upon the word, that
word sunk so deep, deep into the subconscious, and
literally reprogrammed any other way of thinking that he
might have. And Joshua, both conscious and subconscious,
fully believed that word.
Do
many of you recall Smith Wigglesworth. A tremendous man
of faith. Yet, when first learning to read, and I
believe throughout most of his life, he refused, after
learning to read, to read anything but the Bible. Sounds
rather radical, however, Smith realized that he wanted
nothing to enter his mind but the word of God. Something
within him understood this principle of the subconscious
mind. And I will tell you this, the power lies not
within the 10% conscious mind, but the power lies within
the 90% subconscious mind. |
