The
Perishable Must Put on
the Imperishable.
"....flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable"....1st
Corinthians 15:50.
The
kingdom that we seek, a city made without hands, will
not be possessed by that which is mortal, according to
Paul in the book of Corinthians. Paul speaks further in
the scriptures about the change that will take place;
the worm into the butterfly and of the new creation,
which we have understood to be that which happens within
the believer’s heart the minute he accepts Christ.
However, that is only the beginning, the fulfillment of
which God is speaking points to a new creation, which
God hitherto has not done before. Man, in his lowly
estate, has been the very vehicle God has chosen to
confound the mighty. We have seen reference made to this
new creation when Paul speaks of Christ in you, the hope
of glory.....the mystery of the ages...... What is this
mystery, surely it is just the recognition of the Christ
within us? Or is it something greater, far greater. Did
not Christ Himself speak that greater things than these
shall ye do.....
In
1st Corinthians 15:50 Paul is speaking about a change
that must and will take place within the true believer,
a change from the basic flesh and blood physical
structure that now comprises our physical bodies, into
the full manifestation of resurrected life. Flesh and
blood will not inherit the kingdom, but a new creation
will.
The
kingdom of God is coming, yet it is already here, and
has been for many centuries, yet men have not seen it.
Even as it is written in the Gospel according to Thomas
from the Dead Sea scrolls; Logos 108-113: "His disciples
said to Him, ‘When will the Kingdom come? Jesus said, It
will not come by expectation; they will not say: "See,
here", or "See, there". But the Kingdom of the Father is
spread upon the earth and men do not see it.’" Also in
Logos 48-51; "His disciples said to Him: When will the
repose of the dead come and when will the new world
come? He said to them: What you expect has come, but you
know it not."
Before you will see the possessing of the kingdom of God
in every plane of existence you will see the
manifestation of the sons of God. The kingdom must first
be fully established within His sons before you will see
it fully established within this earth dimension. And it
will never be established until His sons change from the
flesh and blood structure of their being and possess the
incorruptible body of His resurrection.
Whether or not you can perceive the almost imperceptible
molecular change that is beginning to happen is not the
issue. But understand this, a shift is on, and God’s
intent is that there will be a people who will put on
the incorruptible. This will not lie dormant as another
promise which has been rejected by man in his unbelief.
For God’s purposes will not be delayed or deterred one
moment. The spirit that raised Christ from the dead
will fully quicken this mortal body (romans 8)
There is a great deal of interest or discussion in the
topic of vibration these days. More and more as science
begins to recognize that all of creation is composed of
vibration, at differing frequencies, we have begun to
understand that we also, a living being, are composed of
vibration. According to many new age prophecies, there
has been mention that as man continues to evolve and
change, that his vibration will also go higher and
higher, thus opening up to him much of the unseen world
that exists at a higher vibrational frequency.
A
classic prophecy comes from the Mayan civilization,
something known as the 9th insight. This insight speaks
of the latter days, that people will evolve in their
consciousness and as such begin vibrating at higher and
higher levels until they will come to a place that they
will literally transcend the veil. Interesting prophecy.
I am not saying that it will be so or will not be so,
but the point I am making is that the change which is
coming now to the sons of God is far more complex than
just a shift of vibrational frequency. We are speaking
of a new creation. |
